alaTest is a fast-growing internet service that provides a search engine for product quality information through the aggregation of reviews. Our service is currently available in 17 countries and 12 languages. In addition to the websites where we collect, analyze and structure product information, we have established business partnerships with a number of leading websites such as CNET, ZDNet, Shopzilla, Bizrate and many others. alaTest was awarded the 2009 Red Herring Global 100 award as one of the most promising tech companies in the world.
You are a motivated sales professional looking for an opportunity to grow with a small, but dynamic technology company with an increasingly strategic role in the global e-commerce sector. You are a responsible self-starter, capable of working independently and as part of a co-ordinated team. Working hands-on across all stages of the sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, you are creative and persistent about identifying and developing new client relationships. You win trust and respect with your unyielding professionalism, strong communications skills, sound reasoning, and relationship skills. You are also comfortable maintaining a high level of sales activity, managing a pipeline and working together with management to deliver consistently on specific priorities and targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in all aspects of the sales cycle from lead generation, company presentation, solution development, proposal & contract writing, and negotiation.
- Manage a new business pipeline and communicate status, priorities, issues and needs internally
- Contribute internally to the ongoing development of new products, sales strategies, and collateral
Requirements:
- Mimimum of 5-8 years relevant career experience in B2B sales of content, interactive solutions, interactive media, interactive services or other related field
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong knowledge of e-commerce concepts and technologies; consumer electronics a plus
- Bachelor’s degree
Reports to: Country Manager, USA
Compensation: TBD, commensurate with experience. Salary plus bonus.
